About The Maker
Lucky Dog Hot Sauce was my hobby for 7+ years. In 2005 I started developing recipes in my kitchen & on the back yard grill due to a passion for spicy food, a love of hot sauce, and a desire to create sauces with more complex flavor profiles than were available on the market at the time.
As a Project Manager in health care, the stress was off the charts, and hot sauce was my therapy. In June of 2012 I turned my hobby into a small business due to both overwhelming demand from those who'd tried my sauces, and a desire to not be a bucket of stress in my professional life for the rest of my days.
My mission is to produce the most balanced, flavorful and versatile hot sauces possible, with emphasis on local sourcing. The Lucky Dog Hot Sauce product line is intended to be used on almost everything, and to appeal to all tastes from moderate to strong heat, without overpowering your food. If your palate has been blown out or your meal has been rendered inedible, then I have failed at my job as a condiment maker.
